Eva Moldovanyi

Eva obtained a B.A. in Geology from Wellesley College, thereby launching a successful career in the global oil and gas industry. Despite the industry’s vicissitudes, her focus was on worldwide exploration and development. The challenges were always stimulating, the personal growth immeasurable, and the opportunities for travel and exploring nature and cultures immense.

Retired from oil and gas, Eva and her family moved to Santa Fe, NM. Retirement did not last long, and Eva transitioned from rocks to wine, taking on the role of General Manager of one of Santa Fe’s boutique wine shops. The segue from oil terroir to vine terroir should not be surprising.

In 2017, at the behest of a friend, Eva attended a workshop where she learned how to make glass Christmas ornaments. That workshop mushroomed into her current passion: glass fusion.

She is currently entirely focused on unique glass-fusion processes, creating decorative artworks that draw on her geochemical and nature-based passions.
